Porter Farrell, Chairman of the Board
A co-founder of CentricVoice with over 25 years of experience in the financial markets, Porter has been involved in arranging financing for numerous start-ups as well as public companies. In his early career he was with two public oil and gas companies, serving in treasury and corporate planning and as head of a shareholder, investor, and analyst relations and all domestic banking. His focus the last 15 years has been start-up and developing companies and mergers of public and private companies, as well as negotiation of customer relationships for client companies. He also serves as a member of the Board of All Saints Health System Foundation and the Forth Worth Stock Show Syndicate and is a past member of the Board of Trustees of Episcopal High School in Virginia. He received undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and and MBA from the University of Houston.
Jeff Rothell, President and Chief Executive Officer
A 20-year veteran of the telecommunications industry and a co-founder of CentricVoice, Jeff is experienced in start-up ventures for leading edge telecom solutions. He served as Chairman and CEO of Netvoice Technologies, a public company that offered a range of IP Voice solutions to tier one carriers and enterprise customers. Prior to Netvoice, he was Vice President of Operations at Evercom, an industry consolidation of over 18 companies which provided secure communications and software solutions to law enforcement and correctional institutions. Prior to that, he served as CEO and President of Security Telecom Corporation, which he founded and was recognized as the 11th fastest growing private company in 1994; he then sold the company to Evercom.
Randy Rutledge, Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining CentricVoice in 2007, Randy served from January 2002 through September 2006 as CFO of Rush Technologies, now Terra Nova Financial Group, a publicly-traded holding company that had two primary subsidiaries: a real-time financial technology development company, RushGroup Technologies, Inc. and a new generation direct-access online brokerage firm, RushTrade Securities, Inc. Randy served as a Director from January 2001 until June 2005 and was a key member of the team that negotiated the purchase of Terra Nova Trading and the capital raise of $35,000,000 to complete the purchase and fund the combined companies. After leaving Rush he served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of PowerCold Corporation, a publicly-traded company engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of a broad range of energy efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and energy-related products for commercial use. In 1981, he founded Skyhawk Transportation Services, a freight-forwarding firm, and served as its President from its inception until 2001. He holds a BBA from SMU and an MBA from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jay Cox, Vice President, Operations and Engineering
Jay has been involved in the design, implementation, and operation of large scale voice and data networks for over 13 years. Prior to joining CentricVoice, he was Director of Voice Services at Virginia Broadband and, earlier, Director of Internet Services at Ntelos, where he was responsible for over 20,000 retail internet customers. Jay has served as a Director of the Virginia Telecommunications Industry Association, As President of the Southwestern Virginia Technology Council and as an Advisory Board member of the Center of Innovative Technology, also in Virginia. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and has completed post-graduate work at University of Wisconsin and University of Maryland. He is a NexTone Certified Engineer
